Day Centres and Lunch Clubs

 

Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East, provides 32 different services to help support the older people in our local community. In the course of last year we directly helped nearly 9,000 older residents and made over 33,000 service contacts..
Age Concern Slough and Berkshire East offers a wide variety of clubs to meet the needs of older people in different parts of Slough and serounding area.
Each centre is unique and offers a full range of activities to interest older people

Anyone can join as long as you are over 50 and live in the Slough area.
The Village Drop in Centre
We are central to the Slough town centre and offer a 'drop in service' to disabled people and anyone over 50:
Manor Park Day Centre
This centre specialises in the providing care for older people who need that extra bit of help from trained care staff:
Langley Lunch Club
We cater for 50-60 clients each day and offer a wide variety of activities from flower arranging to line dancing:
Cippenham Lunch Club
A relatively new service which focuses on activities for independent older people from 50. "Variety is the spice of life":
St Johns Lunch Club
St. John's is a very friendly and lively centre that meets every Tuesday at the church in Stoke Poges Lane from11-2pm!
Woodlands Park Lunch Club
This is our newest lunch club, and the first of many in the maidenhead area.
