VALUING VOLUNTEER MANAGEMENT AWARD

£1000 MILESTONE REACHED FOR SPONSORED BIKE CHALLENGE

Peter Hollick set himself a bike challenge to ride from John O Groats to Lands End to raise much needed funds for Age Concern  Dacorum.  He was hoping to raise  £500 and has so far raised an amazing £1000!  Peter decided to raise the money because of the help and support his Grandmother, Evelyn Classey, has received since his Grandad sadly passed away.   If you would like to find out more Click Here or you can still donate directly through Peter's Just Giving Page .                                                                                                                                                                                 

  • THE BIG KNIT NEEDS KNITTERS!

    The race is on to make The Big Knit 2010 the best ever by knitting little woolly hats which will sit on Innocent smoothie bottles sold in Sainsbury's and Boots stores and turning them into cash.   Age Concern Dacorum asks local knitters to help complete its challenge of knitting 8,000 hats.   To download knitting patterns click here or to find out more  click here.
