The Community Website Service aims to help Age Concerns within the Federation use the Internet to reach and serve their local community through their own website.

The service will provide your group or organisation with cost effective access to professional design and the latest technology with advanced security and reliability.

Through an easy to use management system you will be able to set up your website quickly and easily and then update it as often as you wish, without the need for any technical knowledge.

Initially subsidised with funding from the New Opportunity Fund the objective is that the service will be self-sustaining with income being invested into its future development.

The service has been built in partnership with Clear Thinking Group a company with specialist Internet expertise; they have worked with a number of leading companies including Age Concern England

Key Features

No Technical skills are required; all you need to use the service is a computer with Internet access. You will be able to add, edit and delete the content on your website through a clear and straightforward interface.all you need to use the service is a computer with Internet access.

Ongoing support
To get you started the service has its own dedicated web specialist who can talk you through the process and provide all necessary training. Ongoing dedicated phone and email support are included to help you manage your website.

A professional and legal website
Using a professionally designed look and feel the service will ensure your site is consistent with Federation guidelines. The service will automatically ensure your site meets the latest legal requirements, making the information easy to view and use for older and disabled users.

Secure and reliable 24hours a day
The service has been built to operate using the latest database and server technologies to ensure your website will be secure and reliable 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

You have ownership and control
You will own your site with the ability to update and maintain your website at any time giving you total control.

Easy to convert your existing site
If you have an existing site, the support team will make it easy to transfer your information to the new service quickly and simply.

Cost effective
The service charge is only £40 per month, with the first three months free of charge. As more Age Concerns join the project, the fee will go down for all members.
