Become a Trustee
Join us... We'd value your help
Age Concern Swansea is a registered Charity set up to promote the relief of the Aged. The Charity, through its 48 paid staff and the support of 170 volunteers working in the community, does make a real difference in the lives of older people.
Do you have skills and experience in Voluntary work, administration, finance, personnel, business planning?
Do you want to make a difference in your community? If so, then why not join the Board of Trustees? We aim to appoint new Trustees at the Annual General Meeting every Autumn.
Age Concern is looking for Trustees from people with a range of skills and experience who have integrity, commitment, good common sense, judgement and who value older people.
We are also looking for people with the vision and flair to steer our organisation to fulfil its commitment to the provision of much needed assistance for older people.
As a Trustee, you will work with other Trustees in governing the affairs of the Charity, determining strategy and policy and ensuring that the work of Age Concern remains relevant to older people. Full training and support will be provided.
For an initial discussion, further information and an invitation to the Annual General Meeting, please contact the Director, Mary Pitson.
