It might surprise you to know that most of the people who work with us are volunteers. Age Concern Torbay has over 100 volunteers working in a wide range of roles.
Age Concern involves volunteers of all ages and welcomes people from all areas
of our diverse communities.
Different people get different things from volunteering:
Gaining New Skills and Experience.. there are all kinds of opportunities for you to gain new experience, meet new people and share knowledge.
Good Fun and Great Company... people like you can use your skills and energy to brighten up the lives of older people.You can bring so much pleasure to lives of older people.
Rewarding... your time is valuable how much or little time you can offer you can be assured that you are making a positive difference.
